‘Enjoy every moment of your wedding as it’ll be over in a flash’.
This is the advice given by nearly every married couple to those still planning their day. It is a sad reality after months and months of preparations, but while the memories will fade, a high definition film will live on forever. Watching your wedding on film is also a fantastic opportunity to see the celebration from another perspective. You may have been so busy catching up with distant relatives, that you missed your bridesmaids bustin’ some moves on the dancefloor. There are many things that you won’t have experienced first-hand. The excitement and nerves from your spouse as they get ready, or the reactions from family as you share your first kiss – moments that will have been missed had your videographer not been there. By having your wedding preserved to film, you can enjoy those special moments and relive those emotions time and time again.
But, why stop there?
Pre-wedding Couple Film
Like the engagement shoot that you’ve planned with your photographer, but capturing everyday moments. Maybe a few shots thrown in of the important things in your life… Maybe playing with your pets or walking through your local park hand in hand. These films are so wonderful to look back on in the years to come.
Being engaged is a magical but short period of time in your life, that wedding-planning whirlwind and the exciting VIP treatment that you will be surrounded by should be embraced and remembered to its fullest.
A pre-wedding couple film could also turn this into a super cool wedding invitation. The film could end with your wedding details and inviting those watching to share another special time in your life. Of course, we could always add ‘formal invitation to follow’, but this is a very unique way to let your guests know how important they are and how you wish for them to be involved as you begin the next stage of your lives together.
Honeymoon Film
We’ve got the all-important day, what about the once-in-a-lifetime holiday? Walking on the beach, enjoying a cocktail, exploring some new and exciting city or skiing down famous slopes. Whether it’s thrills and adventure, or a week worshipping the sun, why not give yourself the gift of reliving the honeymoon? No one tells you about the thick haze of love that will surround you both after the wedding. That walking-on-air, happiest person-in-the world, warm-hearted feeling is quite something. Bank those heightened emotions to watch back on a rainy day when the reality of work and bills has kicked back in.
Post Wedding / Anniversary Film
How cool would it be for to watch yourselves back a year after you were married? Generally, couples are more relaxed with each other (as well as being filmed) and important developments in your life could be captured, maybe a baby bump, new house? Though just shots of you enjoying each other’s company are a great way to freeze that moment in time, allowing you to look back and see how the dynamics of your relationship have changed since marriage. Here is a film of Belen and Kelvin in Hamburg. This film features an audio of their wedding vows to each other and hopes for their future together, as they stroll (and twirl) through a beautiful Hamburg park - Planten un Blomen'. Sharing an Experience Film
Meet Alex and Paw. A romantic couple who are currently living in Paris for six months before returning home to Mexico. Not wanting to forget this time, they chose to have a short film capturing their experience.
