Your Journey with One Forever Films - Wedding Videography

Quite often when you book your wedding videography, you have no idea what to expect after the initial booking. The guide will run through your journey, from first communications to enjoying the final film; allowing you to confidently move on to other elements of wedding planning.

Why choose One Forever Films as your wedding Videographer

It’s important to me, that all my couples understand exactly what to expect from me as their wedding videographer. I try to understand the needs of each individual couple. If they’d like to regularly catch up over their wedding plans, or talk through their ideas, I’m all ears. If they prefer to only talk through the necessary details, that’s cool with me too. I can become your wedding planning bestie, or simply your professional videographer on hand to answer any questions as they arise.

"Where to start....from the very first email enquiry to the finished product, Caitlin has been simply amazing and we couldn’t be more pleased. When first planning our wedding, we did not initially think we would want a videographer but decided closer to the time that this would in-fact be a good idea - and I am so pleased we did! We will now always have something to look back on and remind us of the day. Caitlin is professional, lovely and just SO SO talented!! We could not have been more pleased to have gone with One Forever Films and my advise to any couple planning a wedding would be ... BOOK CAITLIN!! Her style is so relaxed and she was incredibly discreet on the day, capturing moments that as the wedding couple you inevitably miss. For us it was so important that our guests were captured enjoying the day that we had spent so long planning and this is exactly what she achieved. It was a genuine pleasure getting to know Caitlin and I would urge anyone who is deciding on what they should do to absolutely go ahead and book her... you certainly won’t be disappointed!! Thank you so much Caitlin!!" - Carrie & Nina

Initial Interest

Phone, email, social media messaging or skype – whatever is easiest for you, works for me. I understand that planning a wedding Is wonderful, but it’s also very time-consuming. I will always get back to you as soon as I can, whether that’s for a formal quote or contract, or just to discuss wedding ideas.

Booking your wedding videography It is always such an honour to be chosen to capture a couples’ special day. If you’ve decided to book me as your wedding videographer, the next step would be for me to send over a contract. This will go through exactly what you can expect from me, so be sure to read it and ask any questions. I will also ask for a deposit at this stage so that I can secure your date in my diary. The whole process is kept really simple so that you can move on to your next exciting wedding-day decision.

What happens next? As well as friendly ‘checking in’ chats, I will also send over an ‘about you’ questionnaire shortly after you book. This just helps me to get to know you a little bit better. I can then ensure that your wedding film is personalised to you. For example, by learning how you first met, I can make sure references to that make the final film. If your great auntie has travelled from abroad to celebrate with you, those precious moments between the 2 of you will be caught on film. Or, if I know that a particular element of your wedding is important or sentimental, I will be sure to capture and preserve that memory for you.

Happy wedding day On the morning of your wedding, I will be ready at the venue to capture those exciting getting-ready moments. These details can be arranged as soon as you have them, so it’s one less thing to think about on the big day.

After the wedding

As you take off for your honeymoon, I will be hard at work editing the wedding footage. Your film will be filled with moments of love, joy and happiness; as well as reminding you of those funny moments from the speeches, or the proud tear that the Father of the Bride subtly wiped away. Whilst it takes a little time to carefully choose the moments that will be precious to you, you can look forward to your sneak peek which can be with you a lot sooner! I know how much you’re looking forward to seeing your day again and sharing it with friends on social media. Have a little watch of Sam and Scott's short wedding film for an idea of the love, enjoyment amongst the guests and stunning details that you can expect to see in your own wedding film.
